Forum color

Sun Mar 06, 2011 11:26 am by Tiramisu

I edited the colors a bit. Mostly just for posting, because the few smilies that have the white box around them bother me!! And I lightened the blue colors up, and changed the box part where the info and avatars are to a greenish color instead of pink.

Well here are just a few good things you should have before you get them.

1. Have chick starter
2. have chick feeders (look online or apaa for reviews)
3. Have chick waterers.
4. Get vitamins/minerals (optional) just in case there is a problem. I have used sugar to help boost chicks.
5. Heatbulb lamp and bulb. Color choice depends on what you need.
6. bedding materials
7. A place to put them.

It is a good idea to be set-up and ready for your chicks as they can arrive at anytime. It is also better to be set-up as the temperature can stabalize and you can check to make sure the area you are puttign them will maintain a safe temperature.

You can read our baby chick care guide for more information: http://www.allpetsandanimals.org/poultry-f11/baby-chick-care-guide-t259.htm
